Information related to the position’s attributes is identified in the Mass Assign Document: General section. This section can be accessed from the initial Assign Work-Study: Start section.
Document summary information and a link that enables you to change your desk/view appear just below the page header. Click the link to view the corresponding View Position Details page.
UT Austin pay range information is displayed for the job code, arranged in columnal form as follows. Click the Add Incumbents to Pool link to add to or modify data.
- Assign ID – Identification number of employee assigned to a pooled position.
- Name (EID) – The incumbent's name and EID, which is linked to the corresponding Employee Profile, are displayed.
If applicable, click the icon to create a Master Employee Record.
NOTE: The Master Employee Record link enables you to view an existing employee's biographical information as it appears on the job application. For new employee's, you will need to create the Master Employee Record by entering the employee's EID and Social Security Number and clicking Submit.If applicable, click the icon to view the incumbent's concurrent assignments.
- Beg Date – Date the assignment begins. Use the calendar lookup to assign a date.
- End Date – Date the assignment ends. (Click here for more information.) Use the calendar lookup to assign a date.
- Hours Per Week (% Time) – Enter the weekly work hours assigned to the incumbent. HRMS provides the percent time.
- Student Data – Information is displayed for the following categories: Classification, Residence, Major, School, Currently Enrolled, Registered Hours.
- Hourly Rate – Dollar amount the incumbent is paid hourly for the assignment. Click the link for more information.
- Action – When you click Add Incumbents to Pool, an [undo] link appears in this column, allowing you to delete added information.
Information is displayed in descending order, from the most recent fiscal year to the beginning fiscal year selected. Use the up/down arrows () to reverse the order of any column.
Buttons located at the bottom of the section allow you to take one of three actions:
- Reset clears all modification fields where you have added data; any unsaved work is lost.
- Save & Verify saves your work and identifies errors or warnings within the section. You can correct the errors now or click Save & Continue and correct the errors in the Document Review section.
- Save & Continue saves your current work and directs you to the Mass Assign Document: Miscellaneous section
