The Recruit and Fill Position: Qualifications section is divided into the following subsections:

Required Qualifications
- Use the text box to describe the position's required qualifications. An applicant must have these qualifications to be considered for a position. Indicate whether the equivalent combination of relevant education and experience can be substituted.

Preferred Qualifications
- List the position's preferred qualifications.These qualifications are used to identify that an applicant has experience and skills beyond the minimum requirements.

Qualifying Questions
- To assist you with your applicant screening, you have the option of asking candidates up to six qualifying questions related to the job description. Qualifying questions must be based on the Required or Preferred Qualifications as described above. Because the questions are not printed out, each question should have a keyword to serve as a reminder.
