Characters
To ensure the security of HRMS (Human Resource Management System), the Information Security Office (ISO) prohibits the use of some characters in open text fields. This policy is in place to prevent HRMS from becoming corrupted and is in compliance with the University of Texas at Austin's Information Security Office.
These characters are currently allowed:
- Letters
- Numerals
- Certain punctuation marks and symbols: periods, commas, hyphens, quotation marks, question marks, exclamation marks, and plus signs.
