Apollo Applications Authorizations
An Apollo application controls access to a campus system (e.g., administrative, academic, etc.). Each application has one or more possible levels of access. When a EID is assigned to a level of access, it creates an Application Authorization. An application authorization is also created when access is granted to a group that the EID is in. The screen below shows which authorizations (that is, access levels) an EID has for specific applications.

The Applications view (shown below) lists the employee's Apollo Application authorizations.
- The name of the Apollo Application and a brief description are provided in the listing.
- Click an Authorization to open a window similar to the one below; a list of application-specific authorizations held by the employee is provided.
- The Employee Status Required column identifies application authorizations allowed for active UT employees only. If “Yes” appears, the authorization will automatically be removed if the employee separates from UT. If the employee transfers to another Shared Services Campus, the authorization will remain.
- The Web URL column identifies the primary system utilizing this application for its authorizations. Click the URL link (if provided) to go to that system.
- If the employee has more Apollo Applications authorizations than can be displayed on a single page, a Continue button (
) allows you to page through the list. Use the Return to First Page of Results link to start the listing over. - Click the up/down arrows (
) to reverse the order of any column. You will only be able to sort the list currently displayed on the page. If the Continue button appears at the bottom of the page, authorizations on subsequent pages will not be included in the sort. - Use the Return to Authorizations Menu link to return to the HRMS Employee Authorizations page.
